Surf Scoters, when seen in Erie, are typically just floating on the back bay. And even then it’s probably only a brief rest break on the way somewhere else. So it really was very nice to see them in the surf! And it explains the name!
Light snow on Easter? Here in the land of perfection, it was warm and perfect.
