Yes, squirrels are cuter! And furrier! It’s too bad there are only a couple species locally, otherwise it would be “all squirrels, all the time.”
However, the squirrel did ‘fly’ on the 2nd from the last photo….does that make it part bird???
I guess a flying squirrel might quality, but even then it’s not flying but rather a controlled fall. Maybe a glide at best. But even the local squirrels are very adapt at jumping from branch to branch and tree to tree.
