Interesting behavior: was that bird giving the food to the other, or was that a baby? or what???
Really cool shots!
Seemed like there was an adult/immature “begging behavior” thing going on, but there didn’t seem to be any typical handoff (of food from adult to immature). So perhaps it was just one younger bird protesting about another having successfully captured a caterpillar. Whatever the case, very fun to see – lots of insect/caterpillar activity on this occasion, w/ lots of bird activity.
