A special ‘double post’ from Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park on Key Biscayne outside Miami, FL. Per Wikipedia: “Baggs supported early pioneering conservation efforts to rescue the southeast section of Key Biscayne from overdevelopment by real estate developers. The … state park was named in his honor on land protected from development.” And thank goodness for it!

This was by far the best ‘Miami warbler hotspot’ on BirdingPI.com’s recent trip. Great to see beautiful Prairie Warbler, and lots of them!
