It was bought to the attention of BirdingPI.com management that yesterday’s post included an erroneous picture of the new entrance sign to Presque Isle State Park. Looking into the matter, the photograph in question was an artist’s mockup of an early proposal. The actual new entrance sign is shown here, with apologies for any confusion:

The end… for now.
Finally, today’s bird photography content features very cute shots of White-throated Sparrows eating dandelions at Scott Park:

What our male character ‘wants to do,;’ is go to Tucson, AZ, to the (chuckle) “Bird Alliance” (not related to any A***** name) birding festival in August….
We’re heading to Tucson! Eventually.
Really enjoyed this post! I’ve been using Pixwit AI Video Generator lately and it’s been a game changer — supports Veo 3.1, Kling 2.1, and Sora 2 all in one place. Highly recommend for content creators!
Thanks! No AI on that first photo – that’s the real deal – but certainly on the previous post. (The bird photos are all real, albeit sometimes with AI sharpening and de-noising w/ Topaz.) For fictional content we’re using Fotor sometimes, but mostly CometAPI as being inexpensive + very easy to use the ‘playground’ modes for some of the models like Nano Banana 2.
