Okay, it has a nut! What does he (it) do with it? Maybe the woodpecker could crack it open for him (it)???
Probably it will be hidden somewhere for future use, although maybe it’s the opposite in late winter (i.e., find a cached nut to eat). In any event, the acorn in question looked pretty ratty.
